So you want to get creative but for whatever reason you're not feeling inspired. This is what is known as creative block. And it sucks. Believe me, I've been there many times.
It happens to all of us artistes and creative professionals at some time or another. So how do you climb out of that creative funk and get your groove back?
Luckily, there are some simple ways to get those artistic juices flowing and turn you back into the unstoppable creative force that you are!
Physical activity doesn't just benefit the body, it does wonders for your mind too. Exercise helps you feel energized while relieving stress and boosting your mood. Whether you go on a walk, pump some iron, or dance around your house like a maniac, just get moving!
There are so many reasons why I love mediation and do it on a daily basis. One reason being the incredible boost it gives to my creativity. Meditation allows you to calm your mind and let go, which opens the doors to new ideas and inspiration.
This might seem contradictory considering you're trying to get some inspiration, but doodling really is a great way to overcome creative block! Doodling is like a different form of meditation. Essentially, you quieting your mind and just drawing whatever comes to you. As you doodle, your mind will start being flooded with new ideas you can run with.

Appreciating the creativity of others is an excellent way to fight creative block. It's a way to get a different perspective, find new color combos, and discover new ways of doing things. Just browsing through Instagram or Behance is a great way to find creative inspiration.
Just have fun
When you're too stuck on trying to be creative, sometimes the best thing you can do is take a step back and have some fun. Letting go of what you're so focused on for a little bit will put you in a more relaxed frame of mind which is where you need to be for creativity.
