Lina came to me because she was embarking on a new career path. She recently became a licensed life coach and was preparing to launch her coaching business, Midnight Monarch. She wanted some portraits in nature that would capture her colorful personality and draw in her ideal clients. Lina appreciates the dark and mysterious side of life and has a penchant for surreal images with a vintage touch, so she wanted her pictures to embody this style.

Santa Monica is the west coast's ideal vision of classic Americana. Beaches, boardwalks, and of course the iconic Ferris wheel. But there's something else there I think people have been overlooking and that's Palisades Park. This magnificently manicured park stretches on and on above the famous Santa Monic boardwalk and it's full of intriguing, alien-looking plants. These are some of my favorite captures from my idyllic stroll through that breathtaking park.
